Remarks : Make sure you have selected Midi channel 1 as thats what Deckadance listens to for its native support (see pic). ![]() I would really appreciate some help as Ive run out of ideas and am desperate to get playing. Manufacturer: Supported in Deckadance since: Deckadance 1.30. Not sure if any other info is useful but I have virtual DJ installed which runs fine with the rmx and the console is working on the MIDI learn feature. I would have thought that the command= would correspond to the lists in the "edit" option for each MIDI file and maybe this is somehow the problem? This is showing that as I press different conrols on the rmx the numbers are changing but the command remains blank after the =. Now I no longer get this message but still have no control through the rmx.įollowing the advice of some of the other posts, I have downloaded an alternative rmx map which makes no difference and have switched on view\info. The number of headphone output ports the device has (usually 6.35mm or 3.5mm). When I tried to activate the rmx in options\MIDI I initially got the message "MIDI driver not found" so I uninstalled and reinstalled the hercules drivers and also reinstalled mv. I have a hercules RMX console which worked fine with the installed maps on the Producer demo that I was trying previously. Check out the best DJ midi controllers that are totally compatible with our DJ Software. Hope some of this helps.Hi, Ive recently purchased Producer 7 which I have downloaded along with the 7.1 upgrade (for vista). All I know is that I was used to a plug and play setup, which could have turned into a disaster at a gig had I not done a pre setup days prior to make sure everything ran smoothly. Like some of the other feedback, the timing issue of the USB was not supported on the software update. However, like I said before, for years I was just able to turn my Mac on, plug in the Hercules, and I was up and running in minutes as it recognized it instantly. Especially if you are at a gig, setting up, and you have no idea where to start to troubleshoot. So, for whoever else said that powering down your laptop, and then turning it back on worked for them, it seems like the only solution at this point. Then when I choose preferences from the dropbox, I am unable to assign the Hercules as the main output, as it is not recognized. The Hercules will again flash the LED blue lights, (this time it seems to flash a few more times) and then the light that usually would appear in the top left corner, does almost a final “quick flash” I’ll call it, and they all go out. Now, if my Mac is already powered up, and I open the either app, plug in the Hercules RMX via USB, something different happens. I have used both djay and djay pro with this method and both apps seem to work. The blue LED lights start to flash (about 3 or 4 times) and then a single blue light in the top left corner remains lit. I turn it back on, and as it boots back up, I plug in the Hercules RMX via usb to the Mac. ![]() This is how I connect the Hercules to the Mac and it seems to work. I am currently running on El Capitan 10.11.6. Since I have a 2009 Model MacBook Pro I am unable to install the latest OS X Sierra.
